The Meaning of Tinges of Hope: Faith, Art, and the Light of Hope

When I started Tinges of Hope, I knew I wanted it to be more than just a business that sells pretty and fun things - I wanted it to be a reflection of faith, a source of encouragement, and a reminder that in all the moments of our lives, God's light shines.

The word tinge means a slight trace or touch of something. To me, that's exactly how hope often works. It does not always show up in the grand sweeping moments; sometimes it's a whisper - the kind found in a prayer answered in an unexpected way, a  saying or verse that speaks to your heart, a smile or kind word from a stranger, or in a piece of art that reminds us we are not alone.

Faith is the foundation of my creativity. Every subject, color choice, and piece I create is inspired by the belief that God uses art, just like He uses people to bring hope into the world. I believe that beauty is a reflection of God's goodness, and I strive to make each creation a small testament to that truth.
